The Seattle Dahlia Society is a non-profit organization created for Northwest Dahlia enthusiasts. We grow, promote and show Dahlias in the Pacific Northwest.
Exhibitors entering basket or flower arrangements will be classified as follows regardless of their classification as stated in the general Classification of Exhibitors.
Ehxibits will be displayed and judged separately by their classification.
The arrangement section will be judged as a Standard Flower Show.
A Novice is a new exhibitor of arrangements and may remain in this category until winning at least two Blue ribbons in two different years.
An Amateur is one who enters arragements for fun and experience. A person may remain in this category until demonstrating continuous winnings in Arrangement classes.
An Advanced Amateur is an exhibitor who is a consistent winner or one who demonstrates outstanding knowledge and abilities in the Arrangement classes. Garden Club members who have won Best in Show, or Sweepstakes in prior years are to enter in this category.
